Vascular Pain
Vascular Pain is pain resulting from poor vascular supply or blood flow. This usually happens in the legs but can happen anywhere. Pain results from lack of oxygen and lactic acid accumulation. Necrosis or tissue death may result if the condition is not treated early. Sometimes surgical amputation of some part of leg results in an attempt to save the rest of the extremity. Frequently surgical treatments are offered replacing the old blocked blood vessels with artificial grafts. Overall revascularization treatments to improve bold flow to the legs have not produced long term success due to the artificial grafts getting quickly blocked.
At Advanced Interventional Pain Center, we are proud to note that our interventions have been very successful to produce pain relief even in severe inoperable failed surgical cases. Our interventions improve blood flow to the extremity resulting in permanent pain relief by opening up collateral blood vessels. Examples of successful treatments are found below:
- 60 year old presented with a dark necrotic spot on his left toe (see picture on left) with severe toe pain due to poor blood flow. After 2 treatments, the painful black spot has completely vanished (picture on right).
- 78 year old patient who had excruciating foot pain due to a blocked surgical vascular graft in her gives her testimony. The patient had permanent pain relief after one treatment: “The pain relief was so immediate, and my foot became warm. Seems like a miracle to me!”.
- A Single Non surgical Treatment Provides Permanent Relief from Vascular Pain, Improves Blood Flow, Reverses Ischemia and Early Necrosis
