Prostate Injections for Prostate Pain (New!)
WE HAVE INTRODUCED MINIMALLY INVASIVE TREATMENTS FOR PROSTATE PAIN!
Case of Prostate Pain:
65 year old patient complained of persistent pain in the groin area including testicular pain. Discomfort during urination and obstructive urinary symptoms in the night. He has had multiple urological visits, has had three prostate surgery (TURP) which hadn’t thus far provided any pain relief.
After undergoing 1 (one) treatment of prostate injection at our facility, patient noted the following:
- Complete disappearance of groin pain and testicular pain at rest.
- Complete disappearance of burning sensation during urination.
- Minimal pain during lifting heavy objects (patient was NON compliant indulged in lifting heavy objects one week after the procedure despite our strong instructions not to!).
Overall notes 50% relief from symptoms despite his own non compliance.
Treatment Criteria:
- Established prostate problems from urology consults.
- Maximized medical and or surgical management by the urologist with respect to prostate pain.
- Negative for Prostate Cancer.
Our pain center will then thoroughly evaluate prostate pain patients after they meet the above criteria
and provide treatments.
REFERRALS FROM OTHER PHYSICIANS ARE NOT NECESSARY. PATIENTS CAN REFER THEMSELVES BUT
SHOULD SATISFY THE TREATMENT CRITERIA. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS WILL VARY.
