Informative Statement Regarding Sedation
Advanced Interventional Pain Center does NOT provide moderate sedation (also known as conscious sedation), deep sedation, sedation with dissociative drugs (propofol), epidural or spinal anesthesia, general anesthesia using inhalational agents (also known as anesthetic gases), or a combination of the above that could potentially render extended respiratory insufficiency requiring prolonged manual or mechanical ventilation.
Mild Sedation may be administered in the form of pre-medication for reduced anxiety and comfort based on choice by the patient or if it is deemed necessary by Physician(s) to be in the best interest of the patient.
