Dr. Srini, as his patients like to call him, obtained B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Madras, India. For his outstanding credentials he was selected for medical studies and became an M.D. in the former Soviet Union on a full Russian government funded scholarship. As an M.D., Dr. Srini gained International experience in the Russian, Indian and British healthcare systems. The British Mensa found his I.Q to be above 97 percentile of the British population. Dr. Srini came to US in 1998 for residency training. In 2003, he completed residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Washington concentrating on Pain treatment models based on Bonica's Multidisciplinary approach. In 2004, Dr. Srini instituted interventional pain treatments that produced outstanding success rates above 90% without the use of narcotics while the national and international success rates for similar treatments were only 50%. Owing to the extra-ordinary success rates, in 2005, Dr. Srini was recognized by the Department of Justice and Homeland Security as an exceptional pain physician which granted him permanent residence in the national interests. Dr. Srini is the founder and director of Advanced Interventional Pain Center. His long list of grateful patients includes a 99 year old who obtained sustained and long term pain relief following his treatments. . |
